The reality star said during the procedure, nurses decided to perform a loop excision, which involves removing the abnormal cells using a thin wire loop that is heated with an electric current.

Usually the procedure is done while the patient is awake, with local anaesthetic injected into the cervix to numb it.

Danielle said that the abnormal cells were removed due to being ‘precancerous’ and it prevents them from progressing into cancer in the future.
